Cancellation & Refund Policy

RETURNS, REPLACEMENT & REFUND POLICY

At Giftsbasket.in, we strive to provide a smooth and satisfactory shopping experience to all our customers. We ensure that every product delivered from our end undergoes quality checks and proper packaging standards.

Since most of our products are personalized, customized, or made-to-order, we generally do not accept returns or cancellations once an order has been placed and processed. However, replacement or refund requests may be considered under specific circumstances mentioned below.

ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURN / REPLACEMENT

A product shall be eligible for replacement or refund only in the following cases:

  • If an incorrect product has been delivered.
  • If the delivered product is damaged during transit.
  • If the product has a genuine manufacturing defect.
  • If the received product is substantially different from the confirmed order specifications.

NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

The following categories are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

  • Personalized or customized products
  • Products approved by the customer before production
  • Clearance sale or discounted products
  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling by the customer

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Orders once placed cannot be cancelled after they have been processed or dispatched.
  • Customized and personalized orders cannot be cancelled once production has started.
  • In rare cases where cancellation is accepted before processing, the refund amount may be subject to payment gateway or transaction charges.

RETURN REQUEST PROCESS

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Order ID
  • Product images
  • Clear unboxing video
  • Images showing the damaged or incorrect portion of the product

Our support and quality team will review the request and respond within 2–3 working days.

REPLACEMENT & REFUND PROCESS

Once the complaint is approved:

  • A reverse pickup may be arranged wherever serviceable.
  • In locations where reverse pickup is unavailable, customers may be requested to self-ship the product.
  • After receiving the product, our quality team will inspect it.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.

In replacement cases, the corrected/replacement product will be dispatched after successful verification.

CONDITIONS FOR ACCEPTING RETURNS

The returned product must:

  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Include original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories
  • Be returned along with invoice/bill copy
  • Be properly packed to avoid transit damage

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Slight variations in color, print placement, or design may occur due to screen resolution and production processes and shall not be considered defects.
  • Delivery delays caused by courier companies, natural events, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances shall not qualify for cancellation or compensation.
  • Giftsbasket.in reserves the right to reject any return/refund request that does not meet the above conditions.
